Native windows
Each stream is a real iPad window: minimize, tile, swipe. Drag its corner and the Mac window resizes to match, respecting the app's own minimum size.
Windows, not a desktop.
Tap a Mac window and it opens as an iPad window. Resize it, stack it, swipe between them; Stage Manager treats it like any other app.
A Safari window streaming as its own Stage Manager window, the Mac's other windows one tap away beside it. The status chip shows the live frame rate: it falls while the page sits still and climbs when things move, so quiet windows barely cost bandwidth.
Sharp where you're looking
The window you're using runs at 60 fps; the ones beside it quietly save bandwidth until you switch. No settings to manage.
Input that lands
Tap, scroll, right-click, type. The on-screen keyboard is a full Mac keyboard: held modifiers, key repeat, caps lock, function keys. Hardware keyboards just work.
Sound follows the window
Each window brings its own audio; windows you're not using stay quiet. A speaker toggle per pane.
Launch anything
The "+" button lists your Mac's apps. Launch one from the iPad and its window appears.
A connection you don't manage
If the network hiccups, the last frame stays put and the stream comes right back.
