Uninstall WorkPane completely
Open the Setup Guide on your Mac and choose Uninstall WorkPane Host; before removing anything, it shows you the complete list of what it will remove. That covers the app, WorkPane Camera, WorkPane Microphone, settings, and pairings.
Before you start
Nothing to back up: WorkPane keeps no documents. If a stream is running, disconnect the iPad first.
1 · Open the Setup Guide
From the WorkPane mark in the menu bar, choose Open Setup Guide…
2 · Choose Uninstall
At the very bottom, in its own clearly separated section, click Uninstall WorkPane Host…
3 · Review the lists
Before anything happens you see two lists: everything that will be removed, with its live on-disk status, and the few things that will remain. No fine print; the lists are the contract.
4 · Approve the two macOS prompts
macOS asks separately to remove the camera extension and to make changes with your password. Two prompts is the minimum macOS allows here; both are expected.
5 · Restart to finish
macOS completes the camera extension's removal on the next restart. Everything else is already gone, and WorkPane's permissions are reset.
6 · Remove the iPad app
On the iPad, touch and hold WorkPane and choose Remove App, like any app.
What remains, and why
Crash reports in your user Library (yours to keep or delete), entries already written to the macOS system log (the system retains those; no app can remove them), and the iPad app until you delete it. The uninstaller names all of this before you confirm.
If it didn't work
Run the uninstaller again; it's safe to repeat. Still seeing something? Send feedback through TestFlight on your iPad.
